Naruto Shippuden goes US!

The Ultimate Ninja series featuring n.1 hyperactive ninja Naruto is getting a 4th sequel in Q2 2009,this time with the Shippuden series in mind.Shippuden has been airing in Japan for quite a long now,and will start showing in the US in a few days.A Shonen Jump first revealed that the Japanese exclusive Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel is being converted for the rest of the world...fantastic! I got my hands on the Japanese version which is quite amazing. The game is themed on the Akatsuki attacks, and will not feature any other characters then Chuyo,Deidara and Sasori, along with the grown up Naruto crew.I didn't play UN3 so RPG mode in Naruto is something new for me,and quite fun, although a little exausting sometimes.

Discussions,FAQ's,Saves and other interesing stuff can be found on GameFAQs,and the entire character roster here. For those who want to watch Shippuden ,as well as all other episodes online go here.

Azija dobija jos dve boje za PSP

There haven't been many color variations of the PSP-3000 series yet. That is, until now. Sony Asia has just revealed two new colors: Radiant Red and Vibrant Blue. Both models are part of a new series called "Carnival Color." No word on whether if these colors will make it to other territories. These two colorful systems will be available in Taiwan starting January 17th.

GTA Chinatown Wars ocenjen

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars has been granted an "18" certificate in Britain by the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification, and no, we don't understand that, either).

Huge surprise, right? Well, no. We already know about the drug-dealing subgame, and any GTA game receiving a restrictive age rating is hardly news. But then Chinatown Wars is also the first DS title in the UK to receive such a classification, a landmark that is worth recording. Incidentally, no DS title has yet obtained an "Adults Only" rating from the ESRB (indeed, only six have been rated "M" -- C.O.R.E., theresia, Ultimate Mortal Kombat, Dementium, Touch the Dead, and Resident Evil: Deadly Silence); could Chinatown Wars be the first?

Also of interest: the BBFC's listing for the game reveals that the title contains 168 minutes of in-game cut-scenes. Wow!

Cak 168 minuta scena u novom GTA...Gawd...

PSP v3000 Hakovan! Po drugi put!

Famous for its imperviousness to hackers, the PSP Brite has now been hacked by one MaTiAz over at lan.st. An exploit was supposedly found in the 2005 title GripShift and has been described as "a buffer overflow vulnerability when loading savegames [sic]." It is now available for download, as well as an accompanying new SDK. Remember however, this exploit doesn't grant the all-important kernal access. A video of this proof of concept in action, after the jump.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Tag Force 3 [PSP]

I’m so glad the PSP still get’s quality games like this. Every time a YGO! game comes out the whole gaming community freaks, especially on GameFAQ’s, no matter for what system the game is. This itme the PSP get’s it esclusively,a third installment of the Tag Force series. Now, what makes this game stand outMany things.

box Art [EUR]

Box Art

Basically, not many things have changed. You still have the semi free-roam,the partner system, same old places etc. And probably as seen in Tag Force 2 you have to strengthen the bond between you and you’re partner. The more hearts you fill up, the more events will pop-up. You start the game with 0 DP,so you have to fight to earn some.

Now,the most important question is, what has changed? First are the characters. You can fight up duelists from Season 3 and Season 4 - Dark Johan, Mr.T, Yubel, Supreme King…and the ones you had before. The dueling system. is same as before.Destiny Draw etc. you can choose from 3,501 cards to build up your deck.

As for the deck,it’s a average Warrior type deck, that can’t stand up to the updated decks of other duelists.AI has also been updated,so now you will break a sweat for some duelists to beat ‘em.

Technically,it’s all the same.If there weren’t the events, which are different for every character, this game would get boring for experianced duelists. We’ve been through the same in both Tag Force 2 and one.Dueling against new people is fun.Like as dueling Supreme King,or Trueman. It’s nice to see new characters.Other then that, Konami just packs the same game just with a few updates every year.Besides the Story Mode, you have the Free Duel, where you choose the opponent you wan’t to duel,Options,Database and other normal settings.

Ways to fill up your partners hearts:

  • Sandwiches - Well, this method mostly worked for TF2 and TF1.A Sandwhich costs 200DP.And unlike in TF2 ,you need to buy a dozen of sandiwiches for your partner to ”fill up”.Note: Golden Sandwich does not fill up a whole heart!
  • Dueling - As expected, duel with your partner as much as you can. That is probably one of the most efficient ways.

For duelins videos with the new as well the old characters go to Ashfire ‘06 channel, you can find the link on the right navigation bar.

And Trueman again...

And Trueman again...

Some characters models are untouched, while some like Jaden’s have been updated from Season 4.The event system is same as before, some backgrounds have been changed.

As for the Heart system…after you fill a heart,as said above,an event some up.

Jaden Events:

  • Event 1: Jaden remembers his time being the Supreme King. Duel: You vs. Supreme King
  • Event 2: Jaden remebers the duel with Yubel. Duel: You/Jaden vs. Yubel/Adrian
  • Event 3: Trueman comes! Duel: You/Jaden vs. Trueman/Trueman

There are four events for each character. The main goal of the game is to beat the Story Mode with every character you can partner wit.So basically it can entertain you for months,if it doesn’t get boring.

Besides cards from decks, and booster packs from 5D’s,there are also Synchro Monsters, mostly all of them.

Trueman drawing!

Trueman drawing!

Each characters loves a specific kind of food. For example, Jaden likes spicy foods,Lobesters,Ham Sandwiches,Dried Mackerel etc. while Chazz likes expensive top-gradesandwiches like Caviar,Stake and Top-Grade Salad.

There is also UMD recognition, where you insert TF2/TF1 in order to get Bastion Misawa as a duelist in the game.

To wrap this up…this is basically the same game just with a few updates that are nice to see, nothing else.If it’s your first time to play, then it’s loads of fun.To other who already played the previous parts it get’s a little boring.

Gameplay: 8/10

Sound: 7/10

Graphics: 7.5/10

Replay Value: 9/10

Overall: 7/10

For those who wan’t a game save, the good people form GameFAQ’s game up a few, credits goes to the uploaders:

The whole game runs on the same system as the first part.Graphics have been improved, new moves have been added, and new characters joined the roster. The game runs great, jutsus are more epic, more effects.

The one thing that really amazes in this game is the fact that free roam has been added, rather then the 2D look. You rotate the camera by pressing L or R. AI has also been improved, now they evade and block some of your attacks. The first level resembles a desert.Through your journey you get attacked by ninja assassins, which you must defeat.Character models have been improved also.

Controls stayed the same, with the first standard jutsu you can use being Rassengan.A clone joins in and both characters attack the enemy dealing quite a big amount of damage. The roam acts like a map,on which you have to go through to find various elements on each side, until you search the whole map and find where you need to go.Your health does not regenerate between battle, nor on the map.

Main Menu is in Japanese thus it might be hard for the few first times you play the game until you understand where everything is located. Face expressions have been changed during battle.

After the desert you get to play Guy,who is battling Kisame. Before every battle there is a short cut scene telling what is going on.Each level change you get to be a different character, and harness each power.

66101020080306_085023_3_big.jpg66101020080306_085023_2_big.jpg

As for the character roster, you unlock more each time you pass a mode. The first available characters are the main ones.More you can unlock by beating Story mode once,or several times. You can clearly see the improvements once you play it.There are 34 in total. You start off with the main crew.

There are two ways to finish story mode. There is a split at the story, where you can go at two different ways, each way leads to a different story. You get new characters depending on the path you finish. After you finish story mode, which will entertain you for about 2 hours,or less, you unlock 3 new characters uncluding Survival Mode.Win 15 battles in survival mode to unlock more characters.

This is a great game.Unfortunately,it’s only available in Japan, from mid 2008.There is hope that it get’s translated for the rest of the world, but since the Shippuden anime still didn’t start in America,it may take a while until we get it.

You can get the list of all Shippuden episodes here, from Wikipedia:
